At 50,000 students, the University of Florida is one of the country’s biggest. Its 2,000-acre main campus houses more than 900 buildings, including 170 classrooms and laboratories. An extensive capital investment program has recently added world-class facilities for academic learning and research, including buildings for:
- Health professions, nursing and pharmacy
- Cancer and genetics research center
- Biomedical sciences
Their Indian River Research and Education Center in Fort Pierce offers undergraduate degrees in agribusiness and environmental management and Master’s degrees in entomology, environmental horticulture, environmental science, and agricultural education and communication.
